Demí - The Animated Movie (Project)

Posted by Sajaidh4life - September 5th, 2016

Hey there people! My name is Savon and I'm a self-published author. I've been a member of Newgrounds since I was in middle school and now that I have copyrighted material, I wish to pitch it out to the community to see if anyone would be interested in coming together in animating, voice acting, and composing music for my fantasy novel, 'Demí: Opening - A Simple Tale of Lu'um' in an effort to create an animated movie of it.

The first novel is already published and I'm currently writing the second one while I'm in America for a few months. I have a few people also that have ideas of their own that I wish to present for them once ready. When I've met with them in Chicago, I'll be able to pitch those as well.

What I want to emphasize is that I'm here for the love of the craft- that's it. I want this to happen and I want it done through working with people who want to go places with their abilities as I do. There isn't much else to this besides creating for the sake of it. Doing nothing leads you nowhere, so why not head somewhere by taking action on an opportunity? This is an experience- something to add to the portfolio and I'll humor anyone who's willing and capable enough to be part of it. Here's a link to my YouTube channel for reference if needed; you can also find it on my NG page. Hope to hear responses; take care, stay awesome, and godspeed NG.

P.S. Making Demí an animated series doesn't seem viable frankly; it shouldn't be handled as if it's commercial content because it's not. The movie medium feels like it does it more justice to me. Plus, a series would take too much time and coordination with it's contributors whereas a movie would be just one project instead of multiple mini-projects. That's too much stress for one too many people.
